Swiss Textile Federation

Profile: The federation comprises of several trade associations and employer organizations in the textile and clothing industry. It monitors market developments and promotes the activities of its constituent institutions, commissions and working circles. It lobbies on behalf of Swiss textile industry and influences legislative processes by participating in the consultation process. It also provides information & assistance to its members on legal & export-import formalities and conducts professional seminars.

Turkish Textile Employers Association (T�TSIS)

Profile: The main objective of TUTSIS is to work for common economic and social rights and interests of the member employers in textile business by improving their work relations and conflict resolution among the member companies. It also disseminates information regarding textile industry through surveys, educational meetings within the country and abroad. It also represents its members before legislative, executive and judicial agencies and also before labor unions for collective bargaining agreements.

Textile Council of Hong Kong Ltd.

Profile: The council consists of 10 major textiles associations and represents the Hong Kong textile industry including spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing & finishing, garment making and the manufacture of textile goods. Firms and corporations engaged in manufacturing of textile products in Hong Kong can become its Associate Members. It gives voice to the matters concerning textile industry and also conducts study missions, projects, seminars and other activities.

Textile Federation (Texfed)

Profile: Texfed comprises of five Trade Associations of cotton, wool, worsted yarn, knitters and technical textile manufacturers. It represents the key issues concerning textile industry on behalf of its members and mainly focuses on trade matters and legislative changes affecting the industry. It also coordinates among the textile industry and various government agencies, departments and other local and international trade associations and organizations.

Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA)

Profile: NITRA carries out scientific research in the field of textile and promotes scientific research studies for the extension of knowledge related to textile industry. It provides its services through R&D projects, consultancies, training programmes, and publications in areas that include energy audit, manpower studies, pollution control, machine & design development, designing of effluent treatment plants, software development etc. it also helps the industry in solving its operational problems. It also has Powerloom Service Centres that coordinate the developmental activities of powerloom industry and compile its statistical information.
